想你在威尼斯
在你没有来临
而又无法来临的时候
想你在另一国度
那里阳光淌进每一扇窗口
说不出来的惆怅
就像那入海口。轻轻低吟的海潮
想你在一个陌生的地方
我的梦想踽踽独行
穿过了怀念交织的小巷
想你在威尼斯
在那静谧而浓郁的秋日
我似乎害了一场小小的热病

An Autumn Day    

I miss you now in Venice
before you arrive here
before you are unable to arrive here
I miss you now in another country
where the sunlight is flowing into each window
I am suddenly seized with a feeling of ennui and melancholy
just like the tide singing in a low voice at the estuary
I miss you now in a strange land
my dream is walking alone
passing through many alleys woven with missing 
I miss you now in Venice
On this peaceful autumn day
I seem as if having contracted a fever
